Kelly Doran, the principal of the Doran Companies, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management. Because of his personal attachment to the University, Doran has named his company’s student housing project for his daughter Sydney and upon completion of the project will donate $100,000 to the University of Minnesota Marching Band Foundation.
Jim LaValle, VP of Development, has seventeen years experience in the real estate development and commercial general contracting business and is responsible for managing the Sydney Hall student housing and Dinkydome restoration projects through the development, construction and leasing phases.
Brenda Thomas is VP of Doran Management and is responsible for lease administration, tenant relations, lease accounts, budgeting and year end reconciliations. In addition, Brenda is in charge of coordinating with on-site maintenance staff and contractors to ensure our properties are maintained according to Doran Companies’ high standards.
Scott Anderson, Doran Companies Director of Residential Property Management ,is responsible for the coordination and management of contractors performing external communications and marketing of the Sydney Hall and Dinkydome restoration projects. Scott’s duties also include the management and leasing of residential units and retail space in Sydney Hall and the Dinkydome, as well as other Doran properties. Scott is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas’ Real Estate Program and active in the Twin Cities real estate community.
Jeremy Oswald is Doran Companies’ Maintenance Manager and has worked with Kelly Doran for over eight years. Jeremy is responsible for maintaining the standard of excellence that is expected for Doran Companies’ properties.
